TEDx UHoWest: Emergent Collectives

Howest, University College of West-Flanders, is organizing a TEDx conference on the 25th of January 2012. Our theme is 'emergent collectives', something that has kept us busy for some time now. We will take you on a fascinating journey through the technologies enabling new ways of cooperation between people and organizations. Technology and sociological evolution go hand in hand and our prominent speakers will guide you on a wonderful path through diverse topics on these matters. Confirmed speakers are Jo Caudron, Bernard Lietaer, Charles Petrie, Fabien Pinckaers, Walter Dejonghe and Jan Devos. The event will be accompanied by engaging creative intermezzo's from local artists. During the pauses there will be ample time to discuss the subjects presented on stage while at the same time enjoying technological and creative exhibitions.
